Fish Gravy







Ingredients:-


Fish – ½ kg
Tomato – 3 medium Size chopped
Onion – 2 Medium Size Chopped
Green chilly – 2 cut length wise
Red Chilly pdr  - 1 tbl. Sp
Coriander pdr.- 3 tbl.sp
Tamarind – small marble size
Cumin seed – 1tsp
Fenugreek seed – ¼ tsp
Raw rice – ¼ tsp
Chana dhal - ¼ tsp
Grated Coconut- 2 tbl. Sp
Garlic  –  4 no.
Turmeric  pdr. – 1/4tsp
Curry leaves – 2 tbl.sp
Finely chopped Coriander leaves
Sesame oil – 3 tbl. Sp
Salt to taste






Method:-

Wash fish keep aside

Soak tamarind in water and extract it set aside.

Roast cumin seed, fenugreek seed, raw rice, chana dhal separately without oil keep aside

Cook tomatoes, onion garlic and  1 tsp curry leaves in little water.  Let it become soft.

Grind coconut with roasted things and cooked tomatoes to make fine paste.

Take ground masala in a vessel, add tamarind extract, red chilly pdr., coriander pdr., green chilly, turmeric pdr .,salt,oil mix well. Cook 15 to 20 min.

Add fish to cook 5 min..

Finally garnish with coriander leaves, curry leaves.

The tasty fish gravy is ready to sever with rice or roti
