Moor Kuzhambu/Curd Gravy


Ingredients:-

Butter Milk - 1/2cup
Chana Dhal - 1tsp.
Coriander seed- 1/2tsp.
Cumin seed - 1tsp.
Green Chilly - 1
Ginger- 1/2 inch
Bottle Gourd - 1
Rice -1/2 tsp.
Grated coconut- 3tsp
Turmeric prd. -1/4tsp
Oil - 1tbl.sp.
Salt as required
Coriander leaves few

For seasoning:-

Mustard seeds 1/2tsp
Cumin seeds -1/2tsp.
Red chilly - 2
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp.
curry  - few






Method:-

Soak cumin seed, chana dhal,coriander seed and rice together in warm water for 15 min

Blend green chill,coconut,ginger with soak items to make a smooth paste

Cook bottle gourd with little water and a pinch of salt 

Mix the ground masala, cooked bottle gourd with butter milk/curd, turmeric prd., salt  and little  water  to achieve the desire consistency.


Cook just frothy, barely under boiling.


Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed, cumin seed, red chilly, asafoetida curry leaves add moor kuzhambu.


Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with plane rice
