Palak Soup or Spinach Soup



Very healthy and tasty spinach soup or palak soup


Ingredients:-

Palak - 1 bundle
Shallots (Cheriyaulli) - 7 to 8
Garlic - 4 flakes
Cumin Seed - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric pdr- 1/8tsp
Green chilli - 1 small
Bengal Gram - 2 tbl.sp
Salt as requied
Butter or ghee - 1tbl.sp



 Method:-

Pressure cook all the ingredients except butter and salt till one whistle in reduced flame.




Cool down and blend in a mixie to form a smooth paste

Heat butter in pan. Add palak puree and add enough water and salt, Cook for 2 min. Serve hot.

Note:-
  • You can strain and dilute. 
  • you can add milk also.
